Varanasi is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. This city is known for its spirituality both for Hindus & Buddhism. You will fathom it better as you take a boat ride on the Ganges as you'll see pilgrims offering prayers on the ghats & people are taking holy dips in the Ganges.

6:00 AM- Pick up from the hotel
6:00 AM-7:30 AM- Take a boat ride on the holy river Ganges. Early morning, this ride will begin just when the sun is below the horizon. Just as the boat glide over the waters, see the orange and red hues reflecting onto the waters from the sky. See the activities on the ghats like pilgrims chanting mantras, people taking holy dips in the river, and cremation ceremony.
8:00 AM- After Varanasi Boat ride, return to Hotel for breakfast
10:00 AM- Leave for Sarnath from the hotel.
10:30 AM- Reach Sarnath and sightseeing the ruins of Buddhist monasteries and stupas. Also, visit the Budhha Temple, Archeological museum, and deer park.
1:30 PM- Reach back to the hotel from Sarnath
3:30 PM-5:30 PM- Have a walking tour in the streets of Varanasi. You'll be seeing the meandering street character of the old city, watch rustic bungalows and their exquisite architecture and interact with the people. You'll also cover Kashi Vishwanath Temple, famous food joints of Varanasi, Kachori Gali, Perfume Market, Flower Market, Silk Market, and shops filled with handicrafts made of terracotta, brass and other materials.
5:30 PM – 6:30 PM- Witness the Aarti at the Dashashwamedh Ghat in the evening. You'll be seeing the choreographed ritual of worshiping the river goddess Ganga with the chanting of mantras. In the end, take Prasada and have a short walk along the ghats. Offer prayers to the Ganges, if you wish and sail diyas and flowers on to the river.
7:00 PM- Reach back to the hotel
6:00 AM - 7:00 PM
